Yes, after years of not touching wordpress at all, I finally released a couple of themes for WP. Well, they're kind of the same theme...but one is free (limited functionality), and the other is paid (extra features).

American execs should take lessons from JAL CEO

Japan Airlines CEO, Haruka Nishimatsu, cut his own salary after economic hardship led to layoffs and salary cuts in the company. He now makes what's equivalent to $90K USD which is less than his own pilots make...and only a fraction of the multi-millions that American execs make.

If our execs did this, we wouldn't need a bailout.

I sat, with my cellphone by my side, waiting. Waiting for the news. I hadn't slept for days, and had barely eaten anything, either. I just waited, impatiently, jumping every time the phone rang. But it never rang with the number I had waited for.

The days on end of no sleep finally caught up with me, however. I nodded off...

...and that's when the phone rang.

Can’t stop sneezing…and other random crap

It just hit me - a sneezing fit like you wouldn't believe. I have no idea where it came from and what set it off because I haven't moved in 3 hours!

Why haven't I moved? I'm glad you asked.

I'm working on a site for a client, and because the site was coded half-assed-bass-ackwards, I am now forced to sift through 80+ template files to make changes to the header. Major pain in the arse.

What GMA doesn’t tell you about oDesk

With the recent surge in signups due to the publicity on Good Morning America yesterday, oDesk's servers are struggling to keep up with the heavy traffic. oDesk is getting some press, which is good because they deserve it. But a lot of people may not realize what goes into freelancing on (or off of) oDesk.

People hear "work from home", and they get excited. What they don't hear in the glamorized news stories is that it's hard work, and you have to be willing to put forth the effort to get yourself established and make a decent living at it.
